John’s gospel describes the stories of disciples who discovered and followed Jesus because someone invited them. Andrew and Peter, Phillip and Nathaniel are two examples. We share those things that excite us. As Christians we must create a culture of dialogue vs. a culture of dogmatic debate. We must allow those who need to know Jesus room for investigation. We must compel people toward God, not repel them away.
