Jacob and his sons learned to look past circumstances to hope in God’s promise to make Israel a great nation. Joseph looked past years of suffering and mistreatment to see God’s ultimate purpose for his life. We must hope not in what we see, but what we can’t see. When we can’t find hope in something, we must find our hope in Someone. Nothing can separate us from God’s love.
