The picture of Ruth asking Boaz to marry her and become her “kinsman-redeemer” is a picture of how Christ became our “kinsman-redeemer.” he became our kinsman by choice. He paid the full price of redemption. He restores our lost inheritance. He frees us from slavery to sin. He gives us a new relationship and a new future.
