God uses troubles to purify us and mature us spiritually. If we respond to His discipline, He teaches us to persevere in the faith. Satan tempts us in order to draw us away from God. It is not a sin to be tempted. It is a sin to succumb to temptation. We must avoid Satan’s condemnation and praise God in the midst of tempting situations.
