Believe in the God of power. Cry out, He’ll answer. Stay with God and stay in his presence? That’s what this verse is about—just gazing upon his beauty and spending those sweet moments with him. It takes so much faith to abide in Christ and to dwell in the house of the Lord. That is what people want to see when they come to church. They want to see a people of God who are connected. Elijah was a man just like us, just like me. We should follow his example.
