God gave us three kinds of glimpses of Jesus in the Old Testament that illustrate His ministry to us. PROPHETS: A prophet speaks for God. HIGH PRIESTS: A high priest provides access to God. KINGS: A king provides protection. The stories of Moses, Melchizedek and Uzziah demonstrate these three roles. Christ is prophet, priest and King to every believer. We have great privilege and responsibility because of that.
