Jesus’ parable of the soils challenges us to allow God’s Word to penetrate our life, to count the cost of following Christ and to take steps to move forward on our spiritual journey. The trampled path represents the hard heart, the rocky soil represents the impulsive heart, the weedy soil represents the distracted heart and the fertile soil represents the receptive heart.
