We can look at Thomas and label him the doubter – he has unfairly been labeled…this is a Bible snapshot of a time of questioning, wondering, searching for him…rightly so. Think about it! Everything he’s given his life too has crumbled. Now hears this story of resurrection from his friends and it doesn’t compute. Thomas is swirling with doubts, but he’s now surrounded by ten eyewitnesses who are all sharing the same story. Maybe the same is true of faith. Because God knows there will be these times of challenges, questions, doubts we all will experience a flux of faith! Doubt and struggle are real. So is hope. Putting our hope in God allows room for the doubts that will also arise in our fluxes of faith.
