He partnered with Intimate Life Ministries and also regularly teaches national leaders for CRU and various other mission organizations. Dr. Barrier began preaching at the age of 13, and he shares his 3,000+ sermons with you on Preach It, Teach It. His compelling teaching style is one-of-a-kind, combining a solid Biblical foundation with culturally relevant application, engaging illustrations, and astute scholarship. Dr. Barrier holds degrees from Baylor University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Golden Gate Seminary in Greek, religion, theology, and pastoral care. He was recently honored as distinguished alumni by Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.
His popular book, Listening to the Voice of God, published by Bethany House, is in its second printing and is available in Thai and Portuguese. His current book, Got Guts, Get Godly, is translated into Russian, Spanish and Urdu. Dr. Barrier has also written a number of journal articles and was a contributing author of The Kingdom and the Power. Roger is an avid student of astrophysics, genetics, and neuroscience, which adds to the depth of his biblical knowledge and exposition.

Dr. Julie Barrier is the co-director of Preach It, Teach It. The site contains thousands of excellent resources and features 223 speakers, counselors and authors from around the globe. Preach It, Teach It draws over eight million visitors in 221 countries and territories and provides international resources in ten languages. Julie has been a concert artist, professor and conference speaker. Roger and Julie have taught in 32 countries for CRU, Great Commandment Ministries, and various denominational organizations. Julie has authored over 400 published works: books, movie scores, journal articles, dramas, choral and orchestral pieces, devotionals and blogs. As president of Sound Concepts, (1982-89) Julie worked with BR productions, New York City, N.Y. She worked as a composer for children's television series, movie scores, educational resources, and as an arranger for Christian artists. Dr. Barrier also taught Biblical Foundations for Worship, Conducting, Arranging, Trends in Contemporary Worship at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary (adjunct professor). She served as a worship leader, orchestra conductor and minister at Casas Church, Tucson Arizona from 1992 to 2010 alongside her pastor-husband, Roger.Julie and her husband, Roger, have two beautiful daughters, Brianna and Bronwyn.
