Warren Bird

Warren Bird, Ph.D., who has a great heart for working with innovative pastors and church leaders, is the Director of Research and Intellectual Capital Support for Leadership Network. In that role, he oversees a team of researchers, freelance writers and graphic artists who generate a steady stream of fresh knowledge products. Warren also spearheads ongoing research initiatives and oversees Leadership Network’s free e-newsletter, Advance. Warren has written many publications for Leadership Network, including reports on large church salary reports, profiles of executive pastors and large-church senior pastors, and research on people who attend megachurches. He is widely recognized as the nation’s leading researcher of megachurches, multisite churches, large church compensation and high-visibility pastoral succession.
