King Solomon declares that our tongues have the power of life and death (Proverbs 18:21), He recognizes that with forethought, the tongue can heal, encourage and teach (Proverbs 16:23). However,our words can destroy relationships, break spirits and negate our witness (Proverbs 12:18).

Kimberly Spring
Kimberly is a journalist and retired educator. She has worked in public relations and publishing including freelance assignments for both Christian and teacher publications. For 20 years, Kimberly also worked as an elementary teacher, reading/writing specialist, teacher mentor and staff developer. She holds BA and Master’s degrees in communications and education from the University of Washington and Antioch University. Kimberly and her husband Roy have been married for 40 years and have two grown sons. Six years ago, Kimberly and Roy moved from Seattle, Washington, to Tucson, Arizona, where they attend Casas Church.
