Michele deMiranda

Michele de Miranda serves as Shabby Chic Ministries Curriculum Coordinator, Teacher and Contributing Author. Outside of the ministry, she is Executive Chef, Pretend-Play Expert and Chief Naptime Enforcer at the House of de Miranda. Michele previously worked in the Creative Services department at the corporate headquarters for Mary Kay Inc. She is also a former Senior Editor for The Education Center where she wrote books and magazines for teachers. She holds a B.A. in Art History from the University of Virginia and an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education from Vanderbilt. She loves modern dance and is a former member of Sanspointe Dance Company in Birmingham, Alabama. She also loves cooking healthy organic meals, forming friendships with a diversity of people, and sharing the extraordinary Truth of Jesus in ordinary, everyday moments. In 2002, she married her neighbor and best friend, Kevin, whose grace and compassion inspire her to live out John 13:34, “Love each other as I have loved you.”
